Walkabout on Country

$3,750.00

The brilliant colours of the sunrise gradually give way to the day as I walk on the land barefoot, feeling the earth underneath, feeling connected to the land. Then the beautiful colours of the sunset move in to end the day. I am in awe of creation and the God who created the heavens and the earth. As I make my footprints on country, fulfilling my dreams and visions, I feel that the opportunity for Indigenous people is beyond measure. The sky’s the limit as the saying goes.

I never forget where I was born. I never forget where I grew up and I never forget my family. “From little things big things grow” so the song goes and the word of God says not to despise small beginnings. I feel I’m walking on a new level. As I have my feet on the land, my eyes are also on the sky as I make my journey through life. I encourage other Indigenous people, all people, to stand strong and stand proud. Things can be achieved and will be achieved, only if you believe. I like to plant godly foundations. I like to sow back into the land and my community spiritually and naturally.
